COVID-19 had a devastating impact on the UK theatre industry. Call to Stage was envisioned with the mindset of tackling these problems head on: simultaneously fundraising for the Theatre Support Fund+ and providing the opportunity to perform. In May 2021, we produced and performed Out of the Darkness, an online fundraising concert in aid of this cause.

Refuweegee work with multiple organisations across Scotland to provide a warm welcome to forcibly displaced people arriving in Glasgow. In 2023, Call to Stage hosted an event to raise money for this charity, to provide support for those suffering from the war and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
